Susan Jordan
Susan is a practicing artist, residing with her husband Bob, in Syracuse for 35 years. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Winning an art contest in fifth grade is her earliest remembrance of a life long career in art. Susan’s education includes a B.S. in Fine Art and Photography from Weber State University, Westminster College and Winona Professional Photography School. After graduation Susan worked as an Air Force photographer, and an art and world history teacher over 25 years until retiring. She has remained active in the art community since her college days. Most recently, she taught children’s after school art classes in Syracuse as well as serving as President of the Palette Club of Ogden. Susan is best known for her variety of subjects, mediums and techniques in the visual arts. mediums and techniques in the visual arts. She changes her style every few years to keep fresh and not stagnate. “My creative genes come from my father, and love for nature from my mother.
